What is Black Girl Thrive?
Black Girl Thrive started as a platform to recognize Black women in Phoenix, Arizona for their great work and accomplishments that too often went unnoticed by "popular" culture. Co-Founders Deanna S Reid and Gaybrielle LeAnn Gant set out on a mission to connect Black women in the region to each other while celebrating their greatness. Today Black Girl Thrive is a start-up organization focused on providing tangible resources to the wholistic compass of the Black Woman; illuminating the lack thereof.

If I'm being honest, writing "about me" sections has never been my favorite. It always feels unauthentic to me, I'd rather be having a conversation with you about your story, travels and exchange ideas of how to change the world starting right here with us. But here you are taking out your precious time to read it so thank you! I'll give you the short version. Enjoy.
